The Reading Promise: 3,218 Nights of Reading with my Father is Alice Ozma’s account of her relationship with her father, a school librarian, and their shared passion for books.
It all began with a simple challenge: to attempt to read aloud together for 100 consecutive nights. Those 100 nights turned out to be just the beginning.
The result is an unusual and touching memoir about the eight years Alice and her father (pictured below) read together, right up until she began college.
It was a little bit too cutesy and sentimental for my taste but top marks for originality!
