Documentary directed by Shane Salerno, and companion book authored by David Shields, published by Simon & Schuster, due out September 3rd (US).
The papers are abuzz, most ranting about how the notoriously recluse Salinger would abhor the very notion of such an intrusion on his personal life. The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The Guardian have all covered the pending release. Most focus on the newly discovered, unpublished work.
Imagine what’s in there… rumour has it we could be reading another Salinger novel by 2015…
