The South Circular Turns 1!

Get the glad rags on people!!

For the past year I’ve had the pleasure of being involved with a new literary ejounal, The South Circular.  Edited and published by my former colleague and dear friend, Aoife Walsh, The South Circular has gone from strength to strength in the last twelve months garnering plenty of favorable media coverage along with a loyal following.

An ejournal you say?  Yes, you read it on iphones, androids and, more recently, desktops.  The idea is to get people comfortable with consuming short bites of fiction as they would music or video clips on their daily commute, queuing in the bank and whatnot.  Each issue is themed and features new or emerging writers from all over the world, along with a cracking specially commissioned cover image.

To celebrate one year of creativity, generosity and ingenuity, The South Circular is throwing a birthday party!

The details:

Who? The South Circular Team

What? Are throwing a birthday party and you are all invited!

When? On Friday April 26th, starting at 7.30pm

Where? At the eclectic Molloy and Dowling Dispensing Opticians (because anyone can party in a pub), 18b Kildare Street, Dublin 2

NB: This event is BYOB and venue capacity is 100, so get there early!
